Return & Cancellation Policy
At Carolina Coops®, we take pride in the quality of our products and want you to feel confident in your purchase. Please review our policies below for returns, cancellations, and order-related issues.
Accessories & Supplies
- Return Window: Returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving your item.
- Authorization Required: Please email weborders@carolinacoops.com to request return approval. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
- Return Conditions:
- Items must be unused, unaltered, undamaged, and returned in original packaging.
- Returned items must be unexposed to weather.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- A restocking fee will be applied to all returned items.
- Non-Returnable Items:
- Hemp bedding and Heathistraw (FarmStraw), for the safety of chickens
- Egg hutches and cupolas with non-standard roofing colors (anything other than black or galvalume)
- Refunds: Eligible returns will be refunded via store credit, paper check, or electronic transfer within 10 business days.
Coops
- Return Window: You must initiate a return within 48 hours of delivery.
- Return Requirements:
- Item must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging.
- Item must be unexposed to weather.
- Customer is responsible for return freight and a 20% restocking fee.
- Refunds will be issued via store credit, paper check, or electronic transfer only. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing.
- Non-Returnable/Non-Refundable Items:
- Custom-built or modified orders made to customer specifications
- Special order items (e.g., non-standard roofing colors)
Carolina Coops® reserves the right to reduce the refund amount if any returned item is damaged, weather-exposed, or otherwise not in resalable condition.
Order Cancellations – Coops and Accessories
- Orders must be canceled prior to shipping.
- Canceled orders are subject to a 15% processing/restocking fee.
- Special order items and custom designs are non-refundable.
- Refunds will be issued by store credit, paper check, or electronic transfer within 10 business days.
Damages & Order Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately at weborders@carolinacoops.com, and notify the shipper as well. We will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Affiliate Link Purchases
Products purchased through affiliate links are subject to the return policies of the manufacturer or company providing them. Please contact the company directly for any return or refund requests related to those items.
Store Credit & Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, you will receive store credit minus any applicable shipping or restocking fees.
Some products may qualify for a refund, solely at the discretion of Carolina Coops®.
