Straw in its raw form is not known for its absorption or softness, however with HealthiStraw’s innovative and customized methods – FarmStraw is absorbent, dust-free and fluffy, allowing your flock to live in a healthy and safe environment that is dry, comfortable and clean. (Not recommended for use in nest boxes due to the straw being chopped)

3 cubic foot package expands to 10 to 12 cubic feet. Each bag weighs between 25 and 28 pounds.
We do not recommend FarmStraw for use in nest boxes. Chickens like long stringy pieces, and this product is chopped small. Its use is great for inside the runs, or for duck houses.
